I work for Dr. Rudick, and as a result I have first hand knowledge of all of the patients he has treated with Lasik. It is for this reason that when it came time for me to have my own Lasik procedure I chose to have it done by Dr. Rudick. Not only is he a caring and compassionate physician, but the way he deals with his patients puts them at ease. In eight years of working for Dr. Rudick, I have never known a patient to be unhappy with his or her care. Even though I work for Dr. Rudick I still did my homework and researched other doctors and facilities. What most impressed me about Dr. Rudick was his commitment to total patient care. In other words, Dr. Rudick is the only doctor who will take care of you from start to finish during your Lasik experience. There are no co managing doctors. I found that fact to be the most reassuring. As a patient I was able to develop a relationship with him that gave me added confidence and security. He talked with me about the procedure before hand, during the pre-operative examination. He walked me through the procedure the day of surgery, and was there for me in the post-operative period. This kind of interaction was invaluable to me, and would not have been possible with other physicians who perform the procedure. I have an excellent result and no longer wear glasses. I have 20/20 vision and see the world in a totally new way. I wake up every day and thank God for this procedure and for Dr. Rudick, for he really did work a miracle. He has given me back the most precious gift-clear vision, every day, day and nite. He is truly amazing.
